Join the Friends of Oakwood Cemetery and the Veterans of Lansingburgh for their annual graveside wreath laying ceremony and placement of flags on the graves of veterans in the Soldiers' Plot. Friends of Oakwood Gargoyle Key Ring/Bottle Opener

Click Here for the Gargoyle Key Ring/Bottle Opener order form.

The first cremation at the Gardner Earl Chapel was done in January of 1890. We are happy to announce the creation of a Gardner Earl Commemorative GARGOYLE KEY RING/BOTTLE OPENER. It is based on a photo of our "very own gargoyle" at the chapel and professionally made.

The reverse is marked: Gardner Earl Chapel Est.1890 Oakwood Cemetery Troy, NY

The gargoyle key rings will be available for purchase at all Friends tours and events. The price is just $10 each and, as always, the funds raised will help maintain and preserve this historic and beautiful chapel and the Oakwood Cemetery grounds. Our current supply is limited to 250 so be sure to get yours soon. If you have a friend or relative who lives out of the area, don't forget to purchase one for them too.
