Come see the resting places of the pre-Revolutionary War founding family, the business people, the brush makers, the boat builders, the brewers, etc. that made Lansingburgh an early commercial powerhouse. While many remain in the Village Burial Ground down below, many of the prominent families choose to move into Oakwood after it’s establishment in 1850.

Our tour fee is $15/pp. Children under 12 are free.

Tours are limited to 25 people.

Tours meet at the flagpole near the 186 Oakwood Avenue entrance.

Dress for the weather and wear sturdy shoes. Tours take place rain or shine and will be cancelled in the event of thunderstorms.
