The Hunter's Moon occurs on Monday, October 26th at 12:12 a.m. EDT, and will be visible, appearing full beginning on 10/25 for approximately 3 days. Historically, the Hunter's Moon was called the Hunter's Moon because its rise around sunset for several consecutive nights provided bright moonlight allowing hunters to hunt and track animals into the evening hours helping communities stockpile meat before winter.
You are invited to join with the community gathered in celebrating the Hunter's Moon and all that goes with it with a toast of seasonal hot mulled cider provided at the event.
